TECHNICAL STEPS

  • STEP 1

The hair was pre-lightened using Formula 1 before applying a toning technique to towel-dried hair.

  • STEP 2

Create an irregular star section on top of the head, incorporating the crown area and secure using TIGI PRO sectioning clips.

  • STEP 3

Put on protective gloves. For ease of application, create a profile parting starting from low crown to centre nape and apply Formula 2 to the root area.

  • STEP 4

Begin by taking 1 inch vertical slices working towards the radial, applying Formula 2 from the root area through to the mid-lengths and ends. Repeat on the opposite side.

  • STEP 5

Continue working from the radial towards to the hairline, taking 1 inch vertical slices applying Formula 2. Repeat the same technique to the opposite side. Isolate using TIGI copyright©olour meche strips.

  • STEP 6

Progressing into the irregular star section subdivide into 2 for ease of application, securing with TIGI PRO sectioning clips.

  • STEP 7

Taking diagonal slices, apply Formula 3 from the root area through to the midlengths, and with a freehand blending technique apply Formula 4 to the lengths and ends. Repeat the same technique to the opposite side.

  • STEP 8

Process the colour visually for up to 20 minutes, then emulsify, rinse and remove using Bed Head by TIGI Urban Antidotes Recovery shampoo and conditioner.
