CUTTING: Razored round layers for a post-punk look and fearless attitude.
After preparing the hair with Bed Head Dumb Blonde Shampoo & Reconstructor, apply Superstar Queen for a Day as the cutting agent.
To start the cut, take a vertical section from the crown to the forehead. Comb and elevate the hair 90˚ to the head. Then, using a razor, establish a layering guide from the interior towards the hairline, following the head shape.
Continue pivoting sections towards the sides.
Upon reaching the temple area, take a diagonal back section to isolate and protect the side perimeter.
Working with pivoting sections, continue towards the ears and layer consistently throughout the interior, while dropping out the perimeter to save the length.
To maintain a visual disconnection, gently blend the long side panels at a 45˚ elevation.
Continue using the same layering technique, pivoting around the crown.
In the nape, work from slightly short to long to keep length and maintain softness through the perimeter.
Continue until the entire back area is completed.
Maintain the hand position and repeat the same technique on the other side of the head.
Blow-dry the hair smooth using a TIGI PRO Small Round Brush.
Refine and personalise the shape using parallel point-cutting.
Finish with Bed Head Manipulator Matte to create a separated texture.
